Why I Work at CEE

I work at CEE because at CEE I get to be a part of creating real change in our community. The little talking, mostly action approach creates an innovative environment that creates opportunities for growth for everyone from participants to staff members.

What is your passion?

I am really passionate about seeing change and transformation happen, especially after a trial or hardship. I live for seeing a breakthrough come to pass.

Most important accomplishments

Being brave enough to do what I love everyday.

Where can we find you when you’re not working?

Spending time with my husband or my friends. I also love travelling- meeting new people, eating new food and discovering cultures that are new to me.

What is something that would be impossible for you to give up?

Dreaming- I’ve been a dreamer all of my life, and that is one thing I don’t think I could stop even if I wanted to.

Work & Community

What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for?

I am known for counselling in the areas of anxiety, depression, anger management, and trauma. I also have a knack for community engagement, especially within the Black community where I am privileged to be able to empower young people to reach their full potential.

What excites you the most about your work & the contribution you can make?

What excites me the most is that I get to witness amazing transformation and change up front and centre.

What do you hope to achieve at CEE?

I hope to make a difference- that individuals I work with are at least one step closer to their dreams after participating in the program.
