Why I work at CEE?
I work at CEE because my role involves 4 areas of work that I truly enjoy: working with youth in marginalized communities, creating capacity building programs, event design and bringing about positive influences and changes in the lives of people in my community. When combined, this affords me many opportunities to live out one of my principle values, which is to make a difference and have fun doing it.
What is your passion?
I don’t have a single passion. But chief among them is the need to create and to be creative. Whether it is designing a program, event, a brand concept, art, or fashion styling, I love being able to bring things and people together in an innovative way.
Most important accomplishments
Valuing my ideas as a currency for change. The moment that clicked for me I gained the guts to launch two startups, create programs and events and have contributed value to several clients among them youth, government bodies and celebrities.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?
One of three things: Often, I’m with my boys doing something adventurous; currently, I’m learning to ice skate on a dare from my eldest. Otherwise, I value alone time to reflect, create, read, watch documentaries, just time to do me. Or, I’m getting dressed – a joy for a self-proclaimed frugal fashionista – to connect with friends over an eventual discussion about life, our latest ideas and laughter
What is something that would be impossible for you to give up?
A tossup between books, documentaries and some serious stilettos.
