Why I work at CEE?
It is a perfect blend of my passion and my purpose, business and empowering others.
What is your passion?
My other passion outside of business is basketball and in many ways I am blessed because I own a basketball business.
Most important accomplishments
My coming to a personal awakening that transformed my perspective on life. Through this transformation at age 24 my friends and I were able to open our first business, a not for profit organization for child and youth services. 6 years later we are still friends and own 3 organizations together working to create change in our communities.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?
I’m always listening to music or a podcast while on my way to one of my organizations, in the states for basketball or chilling with my friends till all hours of the morning.
What is something that would be impossible for you to give up?
It’s a tossup between alone time and listening to music or a podcast.
Work & Community
What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for?
I’m known for having a vision and connecting things. I’m able to look at things from multiple perspectives and pose the necessary questions to get the best possible result. Either that or being very real lol.
What excites you the most about your work & the contribution you can make?
I don’t get excited as much as I get determined to facilitate a group of my loved ones through a necessary part of our existence. I want for those that work with me to have an unwavering sense of confidence and the credentials and passion to back it up.
What do you hope to achieve at CEE?
The foundations of a black economic base that is not solely dependent on the kindness of others but a self sufficient economy that is tied to a necessary resource or service within the southern Ontario region.
Where did you grow up?
World citizenship – I’ve allowed my mind to travel everywhere!!!
At the hands of great books, teachers, role models, mentors and an AMAZING FAMILY.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
